![]() I just don't want anyone to die and have them be locked out the rest of the game. That would break the game balance and remove any level of challenge. Here is the full list of all 50 Divinity: Original Sin 2 - there are Definitive Edition achievements worth 1,000 gamerscore. I wouldn't do that then trivialise it with a six man party. It was just an example of a mod that has clear instructions for the Script Extender :D 5. ![]() I play on tactician only same as the first game. So, just the script extender and the divinity unleashed mod is enough to get achievements with mods and add ons No you dont need Divinity Unleashed. I just want to be able to mix and match party members later on and play through all their story content. In other words I want to play normal four person party. But I want to be able to have access to all six characters after Lady Vengeance." In the sequel to this game, DoS2, mods disable achievements-this is DoS1, where mods do not (implicitly) disable achievements. but I've heard of a mod that re enables them. "I want to play the game completely normally and unmodded. It says when you first go to enable any mod via the in-game menu that 'enabling any mod will disable achievements' Lol. That way you can kind of revert the balance to the original. does adding mods disable achievements Yes, but the same guy that did similar tweaks for Skyrim, Fallout etc to enable achievements with mods enabled, also has one for DOS2. Without mods, no, because spoilers, but with mods, my guess is that you can just install the expanded party mod, recruit them before going on Lady Vengeance, and after that fight ditch them in driftwood, they should just stand on the ship doing nothing. This mod is designed to be version indepedent,so as long as the patched function sigs don't get broken,it should work with new game version,if it doesn't work in future,I'll update it. On that note, is there a mod to have access to all 6 characters without increasing the party size? Like, have them on the sidelines or something. Divinity: Original Sin 2 V3.0.158.595 (Latest version) or above (GOG or Steam version). What you can do is duplicate your save files and try if it works, and if it doesn't you can just revert back. There is a much bigger chance of corrupting a save when removing mods, than when adding them, so removing mods mid playthrough is not recommended. ![]() I had the mod installed and it worked fine, but I remember reading that the mod works only on new game, but that was 6 months ago, so you should check it. Once I dropped in Norbyte extender and deleted the achivement Dll, I tested and got 2 achievements I had not picked up yet to register. The achievement mod was actually interfering for me when I had both it and Norbyte together. ![]() Even the author of the mod suggested installing another mod that adds more enemies so it's more balanced. The achievement mod isn't needed at least in the Definitive Edition. I'd really reccomend people play without huge game-altering effects on their first run-through, experience the game as it is! But save yourself some annoyance with things like the hotbar.Originally posted by slovakiaman:If you really want to install the mod to have all 6 characters, you should know that it totally breaks the balance of the game, and everything is much easier. Nice find/work for anyone wanting to make the game harder, or less cluttered, or even just to experiment with weird builds available through mods. just to cruise your achievments? Each to their own I guess! But then I'd find either of those things absurdly lame. Dont come here bragging about legit cheese. If someone wants to double Lonewolf on Explorer, or make the game easier with mods for some reason, I dont really see the difference. Some mods are certainly less of an easy mode than, as the previous poster said, Lonewolf or Explorer difficulty. I'm not big on the whole achievment hunting thing - but its nice to see them pop up when you do something new. the increased difficulty mod, and the peace of life mods like stopping things automatically going on my hotbar (like seriously, come on.) so its nice to know I can still go for any achievments I missed. I dont use mods - but I plan to use some after I've finished my current run. I want to have a " pure" experience going through DOS II. One of the worst parts of using mods in Divinity: Original Sin 2 is that achievements are disabled if the game detects altered files.
